Whimsical watercolors & knitties abound
MomaLino (Jen Gallagher’s art collective- I am Jen!) is the home of all things whimsical and playful, knitted and watercolored. I express my joy in this medium of watercolor through the painting of fantastical creatures in every day life along with my favorite, dancing cats.
I am also a knitter of small, cozy little critters which I often stop motion animate them once done. These days, I love creating original knitting patterns and sharing them with fellow knitters!
Every day, I do my best to balance my professional work, landscape architecture and owning a dance studio, along with raising my daughter, and cats, while fostering my love of knitting and watercoloring.

In my watercolored world, imagination takes flight and everyday moments sparkle with whimsy. As an artist, my mission is to bridge the gap between the mundane and the magical, inviting both children and adults to rediscover the vibrant hues of life through playful, fantastical characters.
I believe in the power of art to transcend age and perspective. For children, my paintings offer a window into a world where dreams and reality intertwine, encouraging creativity and wonder. For adults, they provide a gentle reminder to embrace the playful spirit within and view life through a lens of optimism and delight.

I think of MomaLino (my watercolor & Knitty home) like a whimsical foster care… knitties are created, shy, a little scared and not house-broken. We help them learn to live with us, laugh with us and love! lol
