Meet Lino

Meet Lino of MomoLino.

He is my chonky baby, ha. Did you know he has his own facebook page? My neighbor calls him the Ebony Meatloaf and honestly, it is the perfect description.

Lino is a snuggler. He is always there for hugs, cuddles and smooshy snuggles. My original Girl and Cat series is inspired by his antics. In that series, the girl and the cat’s hair and tail weave above and beyond creating an imaginary landscapes.

The Land of Cat Fairies

I have been musing lately on the land of cat fairies and their mushroom gardens. Right under our noses, or feet, they go about their days, swinging, playing and dancing on the mushrooms that abound in woodlands. Cat Fairy land is all around us and every time we see. alittle spark of sunshine glimmering or what we think may be a dust mote, could it actually be a cat fairy fluttering by?

I have no idea, but I would like to imagine so.

I have been in love with the Kuretake Art Nouveau watercolor palette for this series and adding a bit of Payne’s grey here and there when I need it. I always paint on Arches 140 lb Coldpress paper.
